This exciting book is DEFINITELY for you old-meets-future book lovers. The story "Red Queen" is based on a future where  there are two different types of human beings, ones with Red Blood, and ones with Silver Blood. Silver Bloods are born with magical or supernatural abilities whereas Red Bloods are regular humans like you and I. However, discrimination has segregated them as slaves and people of less value than them.
The reason why I said that it's especially for you old-time lovers is because since they think the Red Blood's lives are worth less value than that of the Silver Blood's, they are cast and sent off for the war that is caused by stupid Silver's wanting a metre or so more of land than the other.

We then meet our protagonist, Mare Molly Barrow. A simple girl that lives with a family that chooses to accept their "less valuable" lives. To help out, she steals. We later find out how significant this is to the plot but hey, I said no spoilers!

At this era, the Queen is chosen by selection of the Prince (*cough**cough* The Selection throwback*cough**cough*) and they must be of noble blood (different abilities have different abilities) so that the children are of Silver Blood.

For reasons we cannot explain, Mare gets the rare opportunity to work at the palace. While the girls are being selected, they had to place themselves in front of  the Prince and show off their talents. A girl by the name of Evangeline shakes the metal boxes that each nobel  and red servant were holding causing Mare to fall and make a shield of lightning. From there, they discovered her power.

I really would love to explain more to you guys but at this point if I do, I'll be spoiling and nobody wants that! Please PLEASE check out the book as you will thank me and if you do, drop a comment down below and let me know how it was, how you feel, etc...

Bye Digital Divas!

Book Review!: Ten Thousand Skies Above You By Claudia Gray

Book: Ten Thousand Skies Above You
Author: Claudia Gray
Published: November 3, 2015
Rating: 4 stars!
Age Group: Young Adult Fiction
Series? : Yes! Second Book

Ten Thousand Skies Above You is a fast-paced unputdownable second novel of the Firebird series (the first book being A Thousand Pieces of You)
The Firebird series focuses on a girl named Margaret and the extraordinary invention of her parents'. The Firebird. The Firebird paved the way for a whole new possibility, literally.

Dimensions are different possibilities. They're a dimension where Hitler won, there's one where your parents are dead, there's even one that you chose chocolate over vanilla ice cream and some thing in your day or life completely changed. Firebird allows you to experience these possibilities. However, while using the Firebird to live that experience, you inhabit the body of that version of you, which can lead to BIG problems.

For one thing, you can totally forget you're in another person's body. 'Cause hey, they look like you! (most of the time. Unless you visit some dimension where you're a fitness guru!) Except for Margaret, she doesn't need a reminder. Oh! Reminders are little shocks that remind you you're in a nother person's body so you don't do something you normally wouldn't! (How ironic, I almost forgot to mention reminders) Also, you need to keep in mind that your SOUL is traveling.

In the first book, Margaret was chasing down this guy named Paul Markov. Supposedly, Paul Markov cut the brakes on her father's car which caused him to veer off a bridge and die. However, they never found a body.

SPOILER ALERT! IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE FIRST BOOK DO NOT SCROLL!

I warned you....

Her Dad never died though. But hey, you know that already because you've read the first book. Right?! Now that they've found her Dad in another dimension, that the evil company against the Firebird,  trapped him in and yah she fell in love with Paul when she found out he wasn't the bad guy. If you've read the first book, you'd know that there's another inventor that works with her parents named Theo. And she's stuck in between but we know who she picked, Paul.

That same evil company also split Paul's soul into four and in order for her to get him back, she must ruin the chances for the Firebird to be invented in four different dimensions.

That's all I'll be telling you lovies for now because no-one likes a spoiler, right?

Me Earl and the Dying girl is a humorous, heart-warming book that truly shows an insight of High School and teen lives. Unlike most young adult books, Me Earl and the Dying girl isn't filled with romance or complications. Actually, there was 0% romance in the book, and for some young adult readers, this was a turn-off. For me however, I loved it. The book is written from Earl's POV which helped give us a true look on how he laid low throughout high school (like most) only to realize that doesn't do anything, anything but keep you from finding and connecting with people that really mean something to you and don't make you feel like you're alone.

Sorry for the really short Review guys! I promise I'll pump out those other ones by next week!

Love you
